Moon Walls is 18 minutes of building walls of crushing doom. Released here in a limited edition of 15, it comes on a hand-painted 3" CDr, housed in a black, copper-wire-bound sleeve, each with a unique histological insert, all wrapped in sewn vellum.

[SOLD OUT] Ecovitus is a collection of 4 pieces written over the last year and half, combining fauna field-recordings and drones. Subjects include birds, shore birds, frogs, bees & people. Heavily laden with vocals, synthesizers & feedback, these structures are simple and transportational. Released here in a limited edition of 33 stamped CDr and hand-cut chipboard cases & vellum insert, all housed in a 7” sleeve with photocopy collage by Sparkle Girl’s Jim Evans for Soccer Mom Ebonics #37, which was a live recording of the first track “See it in the Trees” performed 2008 at Chickhed Church.

[SOLD OUT] Riding the Slow Wave of Death EP is titled after New Red Sun’s original moniker Riding the Slow Wave of Death to the Bright and High Plains. The same recording as PR003 is here rereleased in new packaging with 4-panel color insert featuring the photography of guitarist Evan Gilman, housed in a polyvinyl sleeve. This version is mastered by Chicago-based noisician Derek Repsch (founded of the now-defunct Splinter Ensemble, ex-No Guns No Money, etc). To be released in a hand-numbered, ltd. edition of 100 CDr, also in support for the New Red Sun/Painting for Animals fall 2009 West Coast tour.

[SOLD OUT] Sleep’s Keeper ov thee Sea is a 5-song cycle of darkened Cascadian poetry, brimming layered harmonic vocalizations and heavy drones. [PR003] New Red Sun – Slow Wave EP

[SOLD OUT] Seattle-based darkened folk/drone trio New Red Sun’s premier release Riding the Slow Wave of Death is a 17 minute epic journey piece, originally premiered in May 2009 at the Seattle Occultural Music Festival. Masterfully recorded by engineer Jon Sargent, notably having worked for masters Tucker Martine, Wayne Horvitz, etc. This EP comes on a 5” unmarked true-silver CDr, artwork on a transparency insert. This recording will be rereleased shortly [PR005] Slow Wave EP, once mastered by Derek Repsch. It have new artwork new artwork, featuring the photograph’s of Evan Gilman.

[SOLD OUT] Whale Hunter is now available in a limited edition of 23 3" CDr. This 22 minute EP is a musical narrative, blending field recordings, vocals & feedback in classic Paintings form. This recording is presented on stenciled discs housed in hand-cut cardboard stock with pasted line drawings, photo cutout and release info on Japanese-English dictionary, all bound with red twine. Field recordings taken in Mt Rainier National Park & the Olympic National Rain Forest.
